Background

The University of Ghana School of Pharmacy was established in 2007 as a constituent of the College of Health Sciences. It was located on the Korle-Bu Campus of the College of Health Sciences. However, in 2011, it was relocated to the Legon Campus where it has been since.

It should be recalled that the school celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, which was climaxed with a colourful ceremony with the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the special guest of honour at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.

It was during these celebrations that the Alumni body pledged to support the school.
